I’ve sold my business to become a full-time podcaster

Is this a terrible idea?

Time will tell.

My name’s Rich Leigh.

I’m a 37 year old dad of four, which means I’ve got a responsibility or two.

I’ve sold my award-winning PR business, saying goodbye to the guaranteed income I and my family had over the last 10 years, and why?

To follow my dream: to create a podcast show that explores what’s truly possible when we try - that also pays the bills.

As I explain in the trailer below, recent life-changing events have made me more resolute in wanting to follow passion and purpose over money. But, this has to pay for itself, at the very least, otherwise it’s an expensive hobby.

The first episode from the new series will be released in September 2025, so follow along using the links at the bottom of this page.

In the meantime, I’ll be documenting the ongoing behind-the-scenes journey as I plan the show, record interviews and learn how the business of podcasting and YouTubing works.

Have you ever wondered how to get A-list guests? Ever been curious to know exactly how much money a million views on YouTube is worth, in actual cash-terms? Ever been interested to see what goes into producing an episode? Want to see the challenges I face along the way?
